SCRAMBLES - Annual 4 Way competition, What is 4-way Formation Skydiving?
You have a team of 5 people (4 x formation skydivers, 1 x team videographer who jumps with us), compete over 4 rounds of competition. There are 16 (rookie) unique formations that are drawn randomly prior to the competition Each round is judged based on the maximum number of formations that can be completed in 35ish seconds from leaving the aircraft. The team with the highest combined average score over the 4 rounds of competition win the competition. The table of participants is like many other sports. The team with the highest number of completed formations over 4 rounds win, followed by the second highest, third, and so on.
Scrambles was invented to help skydivers from all levels to progress in formation skydiving.
Primary days will be the Saturday 2nd and Sunday 3rd May.
Presentation will take place on the Sunday evening.
Prizes for 1st/2nd/3rd place plus the Mong award
All you require is A license and FS coaching ( must of done a 3 way). Also another term used is Planned carnage. If you're not sure you can take part, please drop me a DM.
The teams will be announced The Friday evening live on FB…. Normally after a few drinks, apparently this is the only time im funny. Teams are picked at random ish, I like to fuck with some people.
What you need to know:
• Registration closes Friday 1st May at 12:00.
• Live announcements of teams at 21:00 ish.
• Getting kit /docs / money etc done before briefing, please put money on account before event. Saves so much drama on the morning.
• 4 round costs TBC
• Briefing Saturday morning 08:30 (lessons on how to track included)
• Saturday last load will require to take part in swoop and chug with Beer pong table. Bring a crate of beer each.
• Make sure you fill out the registration form, if for some reason you can’t make it, please remove yourself from the sheet and msg me.
