LOKD, also known by their full name: Lots Of Kisses Dude, is an experimental jazz fusion quartet from Nipiluna Tasmania. Through the use of effects and samples, these prime lads have unleashed a sound built on the ethos that music doesn’t always exclude humour. And so borne from the minds of Luke Vavoulas, Olly Mitchell and Kade Renshaw, and Dorian Clennet, LOKD blasts you back with nostalgic tunes and originals that will leave you feeling as good as a $50 note from nan.
PMD is a recent venture from three of Hobart’s prominent Jazz Musicians. Jode Brewster, Aaron Loveless, and Seb Folvig play electronic jazz fusion, rich both harmonically and rhythmically. The music is exciting, and displays a deep respect for creativity and shared experience.
10HP are a hot hitting fusion group from nipaluna/Hobart. Mixing genres of funk, jazz, and metal these players will leave you grooving and tapping your foot the entire song. 10HP are Anson Young and Dorian Clennet on guitar, Jode Brewster on keys, Joshua Maddock on drums, Max Marko on bass, and Olly Mitchell on sax. With a love for music from jazz fusion classics, to modern hits from games and metal they bring a sound like little else in the lutruwitta/Tasmanian jazz scene.
So get your head ready for banging and your foot ready for tapping, because these lads will give you a set you won't yet want to forget.
