About this Event
This September, join us at the National Museum of Scotland as we reflect on the Trust's achievements over the past year and celebrate 60 years of championing Scotland's wildlife.
The formal AGM, which is free for all members to attend, will be followed by a special National Members Day event. In keeping with our 60th anniversary storytelling theme, we will be joined by staff, volunteers and special guests who will share stories from around the Trust, and beyond.
We are delighted to be joined in conversation with broadcaster and biologist Liz Bonnin. Liz is known for her powerful documentaries and inspiring series including Wild Caribbean and Blue Planet Live. We will also hear from vet and adventurer Cal Major about her stand-up paddleboarding journey round Scotland's coastline.
Following a short comfort break we will have an engaging panel discussion where presenters will pitch their ideas for the contents of our 60th anniversary time capsule and share the inspiring stories behind them. The day will end with the announcement of the winners of this year’s Trustees Awards for Volunteering.
Don’t leave the kids at home! In partnership with the National Museum, free drop-in family activities will be taking place throughout the day. Members are welcome to come and go between various rooms to create a fun day out for all the family.
