🎉 Šventės metu jūsų laukia nepamirštama vakaronė, jungianti Škotijos ir Lietuvos kultūras!
▪️Vakaro metu gros Dr Reelgood Ceilidh Band, tad turėsite puikią progą šokti škotiškus ceilidh ir lietuvių liaudies šokius
▪️Dainuoti pamėgtas lietuvių liaudies dainas
▪️Klausytis pasakojimo, kurį pristatys nuostabioji pasakotoja Daiva Ivanauskaitė-Brown.
▪️Bei mėgautis škotiškomis ir lietuviškomis vaišėmis
🍲 Vaišės - suneštinės. Kviečiame atsinešti savo lietuviškų užkandžių ar patiekalų. Labai lauksime skanėstų, būdingų jūsų kraštui: Aukštaitijai, Žemaitijai, Dzūkijai, Suvalkijai ar Mažajai Lietuvai.
🍸 Gėrimai. Atsineškite savo mėgstamų gėrimų, kadangi renginio vietoje baro neturėsime.

🏴 We are delighted to invite you to the 3rd Anniversary of the Scottish Lithuanian Community! This year, the celebration will take place in the heart of Edinburgh, at Greyfriars Charteris Centre (Binks Hall)
🎉 Join us for an unforgettable evening of live music, dance, and friendship, bringing together the cultures of Scotland and Lithuania.
▪️Enjoy the lively performance by Dr Reelgood Ceilidh Band, the perfect opportunity to dance both Scottish ceilidh and Lithuanian folk dances
▪️Sing along to your favourite Lithuanian folk songs
▪️Listen to a wonderful story told by Daiva Ivanauskaitė-Brown, our talented storyteller.
▪️And, of course, enjoy a variety of Scottish and Lithuanian treats!
🍲 Food: It’s a potluck evening, please bring a Lithuanian or Scottish dish to share. Dishes representing your region of Lithuania (Aukštaitija, Žemaitija, Dzūkija, Suvalkija, or Mažoji Lietuva) are especially welcome.
🍸 Drinks: You are also welcome to bring your own drinks, as there will be no bar at the event.
🥧 We’ll provide Scottish snacks and a welcome drink!
👠 Dress code: Celebrate the spirit of both cultures, wear a kilt or add other Lithuanian or Scottish touches to your outfit!
