About this Event

Scott Krokoff + Phil Robinson + Victor V. Gurbo | Thursday, November 6th | 5PM Doors, 6PM Show

A triple bill of powerhouse NYC-area bands take the stage at the legendary Cafe Wha?!! Presented by Roomful of Sky Music.
SCOTT KROKOFF is known for a rich sound lovingly woven from elements of 60's and 70's folk rock & country pop. An evocative and introspective songwriter with a style reminiscent of Tom Petty and James Taylor, Scott has opened for Elle King, and has performed extensively throughout the New York area as well as Europe. Scott is a prolific writer and is known for crafting "graceful tales of morality and perseverance" (The Vinyl District) with relatable themes and "melodies that’ll have you humming for days" (Nooga). PopWrapped calls Scott "an artist to watch" and Music Crowns writes of his song 'Fortunately' – "a song you’ll want to hold your loved ones close to, and find harmony with one another while swaying along to the music."
PHIL ROBINSON is an NYC-based folk/rock singer-songwriter, well-known for his fun stage presence, soulful songwriting, and his signature harmonica playing. Whether performing solo, fronting his large "rock band + gospel choir" ensemble, or sitting in as a guest performer with other artists, Phil will get you shouting "Hell Yeah!" to his original tunes, and laughing along with his audacious choice of cover songs. With recent activities covered by American Songwriter and Broadway World, and an extensive performance resume including Hard Rock Cafe, The Cutting Room and sold-out shows at City Winery, Rockwood Music Hall and Carnegie Hall, Phil was recently named a Lee Oskar Harmonicas "Preferred Player". Look for his new album "Through The Middle" to be released in 2026.
VICTOR V. GURBO is a Brooklyn-based musician and songwriter known for his evocative storytelling, and deep-rooted folk influences. Blending Americana with poetry, Gurbo’s music explores themes of love and loss, capturing the essence of a bygone era. Over the years, he has captivated audiences at some of New York City’s most prestigious venues, from the Brooklyn Academy of Music to Carnegie Hall. Since his return to the stage after the 2020 COVID-19 pandemic, Gurbo has expanded his discography with a mix of original compositions and curated covers recorded at home during the lockdown, bringing a fresh yet nostalgic sound to streaming platforms. On February 26th 2025, he released a full album of this material titled "Outrun the Invisible Man," which is also available on vinyl.
