About this Event

P&T Knitwear is pleased to welcome three incredible poets to celebrate, discuss, and read from their latest collections published by Alice James Books.

by Cecily Parks confronts the ecological paradox of homemaking in an environment domesticity rejects—one of mess, disease, and everyday violence—to explore the equal distress and delight entangled in caring for a family, a new home, and the earth that sustains them.

by Iain Haley Pollock is steeped in the myths we spin about self, family, and nation. These poems attend to the complexities of violence in America, racial justice, and the intersection of personal and national identity.

by Michael M. Weinstein meditates on the body as a site of continuous change—both painful and beautiful, elected and imposed—to explore the often tangled journeys of physical and spiritual transformation.
