ABOUT THE SHOW
Scot Ibex Blues Duo w/ Buddy Lane brings a powerful night of Delta blues to the Wright as part of a national touring circuit.
Scot Ibex (2026) is an award-winning artist (Indie Acoustic Project, 2023) whose sound blends Delta blues, jazz, and modern acoustic guitar traditions.
Originally from New York City, Ibex now splits his time between the U.S. and the Czech Republic, where he performs at jazz festivals, clubs, and major city-sponsored events, including Mandau Jazz (Official Artist Selection 2023 and 2024).
Joined by Buddy Lane, the duo delivers an intimate yet dynamic live performance rooted in storytelling, rhythm, and technical mastery. Ibex has performed alongside notable musicians including Henry Franklin (Pharaoh Sanders, Stevie Wonder), Rich Dixon (Frank Sinatra), Clifford Adams (Kool & the Gang), Erica Brown (B.B. King), Dick Earl (Memphis International Blues Contest), and Antoine Dufour (CandyRat), as well as European blues artist Matěj Ptažek.
