Whether he’s greeting us with his big, goofy smile or offering comfort to anyone who needs it, Scooby has touched the hearts of everyone who knows him. Now, our beloved boy needs us more than ever.
Scooby has been diagnosed with a severe knee condition that requires urgent surgery — a complex procedure involving shaving down both of his knee bones and inserting metal plates to realign and support the joints to try and prevent any slipping (and a larger issue). Without this operation, his pain will only increase, and his ability to walk will continue to decline.
The cost of the surgery climbs over $8,000 - a massive blow! On top of that, the recovery period is 12 full weeks of strict rest and hands-on care. This means that Mitch won't be able to work as his full attention will be on Scooby's recover - so every cent raised will make a massive difference!
Scooby’s dad, Mitchell, is a huge part of our community — always the first to lend a hand, show up for local events, and support anyone who needs help. The man who's almost single handedly walked or looked after every dog in the South West Region needs the community to come together and show him the love he deserves.
Every donation — big or small — will go directly toward Scooby’s surgery and his recovery, helping relieve some of the financial burden so Mitchell can focus on getting his best friend back on his feet.
