SCMI Beam Signing Event

Join us at Sorenson Center for Medical Innovation (SCMI) on Fri, Feb 28, 2025 at 10:00 AM for a special occasion where you can leave your mark on our new building by signing your name on a beam in the new facility. Come and be a part of history as we celebrate the progress of our new facility - all current and future innovators welcome to sign the beam! After signing is complete, the beam will be hoisted via crane into its final position on the upper level of the SCMI.

• Drop in any time between 10a-11:30a to add your name
• Beam will be hoisted into its place on the SCMI facility at 11:30a
• Hot beverages and light breakfast provided
• Event will be held rain, snow, or shine (tents and portable heaters onsite)

This event is open to all members of the University of Utah and University of Utah Health communities. This in-person event will be a great opportunity to connect with others in the medical innovation community. Don't miss out on this exciting event!
