● The 4th member of the team is allowed only for the students of St. Joseph who are the members of the Executive Committee
Instructions:
● Participants will have to build up their projects according to the provided theme.
● Participants will have to bring a Navy Blue tablecloth (4ft X 3ft) in order to display their project.
● Participants will have to bring their own materials related to their project.
● Participants will have to bring their own tools and support regarding the project and they must take heed that no one else has to face problems for lending tools/ machines etc.
● Participants can bring laptops, Androids, and iOS devices for the project purpose.
● Any use of an electronic gadget in an inappropriate manner will result in immediate disqualification.
● Chargers, power cables, multi-plugs, and any other additional accessories will NOT be provided.
● Participants cannot display projects which may disrupt the surrounding environment for others.
● Threads and clips to hang posters are provided and participants must be very careful and not use glue on campus infrastructure. If there is an infringement then immediate disqualification will be given.
● Participants should bring their own power supply extension (multi-plug) for Projects which require electricity.
● Spot registration facility will not be available for Project Display.
● All team members should be from the SAME institute. Intermingling between institutions is just not allowed. Any team which consists of participants from different institutes will be disqualified.

Scrapbook
Hold on to your hats because the most anticipated Scrapbook event of the year has arrived! Every year Scintilla brings out the most innovative and creative side of students, aiming to make this world a better place through ‘Scrapbook’. Here, we provide you with an objective scrapbook where students are free to share what they think on a particular topic. You will get an unbiased and qualitative Scrapbook where you can put your heart out! We promise you will have one hell of a time over the next 3 days!
Scrapbook Rules & Regulations
● All the writings of the Scrapbook should be written at home, but no design or decoration can be done at home. It must be completed and submitted by coming to school on the specified day.
● Participants have to write at least 15% of their written part in school or more and the rest can be written at home.
● Those who will make a Scrapbook must purchase the form and submit it.
● The Scrap Book must be submitted according to the rules within the specified time.
● All the information and pictures of the Scrapbook must be based on the specified topic. Participants can provide accurate information and data from different sources.
● Captions must be provided under each picture.
● It must be written completely by your own hand. The table of contents and references must be linked.
● It must be bound. The student's identity (name/roll/class, branch and subject of the Scrap Book) must be clearly written on the bound.
● The Scrapbook must be within 15-30 pages long for 3rd - 5th grades. The writing will always be on the right and the pictures on the left.
● The Scrapbook must be within 25-40 pages long for 6th - 12th grades. The writing will always be on the right and the pictures on the left.
● Set amount of Scrapbooks will be awarded in each category/section. In that case, the decision of the judge will be final. However, all Scrapbooks will be evaluated for ‘Bangladesh & Global Studies’ and ‘History & Social Science.’ No type of computer composition is acceptable.
Fees: For enrolled Josephites: Per Person fee 100 /= BDT.
** If the Scrap Book is not submitted correctly according to the rules on time for class III to class XII - it will be considered absent in the evaluation for ‘Bangladesh & Global Studies’ and ‘History & Social Science’ subjects.**

● Points for each goal, and penalties for restarts and fouls.

The Scintilla Science Club invites students from Class 7 to 12 to participate in the Holocronathon Competition. This event will focus on key themes from the Star Wars movie series, exploring the intersection of science fiction and real-world scientific concepts.
The Star Wars saga provides a fascinating lens through which we can explore scientific concepts such as space exploration, robotics, and advanced technology. This competition will test your knowledge of the films and encourage critical thinking and teamwork.

● The quiz will be conducted in Interactive Audio-Visual format.
● Each team may consist of a maximum of 5 members.

● There is no predefined subject area, and questions will cover a wide range of topics.
● Quiz Masters' decisions will be final and binding.

Truss Challenge
A truss is a framework of beams arranged in triangular units to support structures under heavy loads, commonly used in bridges and buildings for its balance of strength and material efficiency. The Truss Challenge by the Scintilla Science Club invites you to build a truss that combines aesthetic appeal with structural strength. This competition is an opportunity to apply engineering principles, creativity, and problem-solving in a dynamic, real-time setting as you test the limits of your design. Do you think your truss can withstand the ultimate test of load-bearing strength? Let’s find out!
Event Type: Solo/Team (Each team may consist of maximum 3 members)

Rules and Regulations:
● Materials:
i. Participants will be provided with popsicle sticks for construction.
ii. Participants may bring additional tools or materials, including electronic devices and stationery (glue guns, glue sticks, scissors, etc.).
iii. Online research during the competition is allowed.
● Structure Specifications:
i. Length: 38 cm to 42 cm
ii. Width: Equal to the length of a standard popsicle stick
iii. Height: 14 cm to 18 cm
iv. Only glue joints are permitted; excess glue use, glue over-filling joints or glue in other areas will result in point deductions or disqualification.
v. Overlapping of sticks is not allowed.
vi. A 2 cm gap must be present at mid-span for load testing.
● Time Limit:
i. Total build time is 3 hours.
ii. Participants will receive a demo and instructions at the event venue.
● Judging:
i. Each truss will be scored by judges, whose decisions are final.
ii. Participants may seek guidance from volunteers but may not receive physical assistance.
Safety Note: Participants are responsible for their own safety when using tools.

In this event, participants will work in teams to solve challenging scenarios, each designed to push the boundaries of what they know. Each task encourages critical thinking, creativity, and a deeper grasp of scientific concepts. From solving complex equations to analyzing unique situations with scientific reasoning, Inspect Your Intelligence is the ultimate opportunity to showcase both knowledge

● There will be a total of 15 questions.
● Questions of different segments will contain different points.
● Complete as many tasks as possible within 45 minutes.

RULES AND REGULATIONS:
● Participants will have to register before the event.
● Participants will have to create a T-Shirt design which is relevant to the topic.
● Each participant should submit one entry only.
● The t-shirt should be white in colour and without any design from manufacturers.
● The t-shirt should be hand drawn. There is no restriction for colours used on T-shirts. The design should be on the front of the T-shirt.
● All T-shirt Design should be the original work of the participant. Any participant found violating the rules and regulation will be disqualified from the competition.
● Participants are bound to be present in the venue with their t-shirt with the design done by the participants beforehand and a hanger for display at least half an hour before the reporting time according to the schedule.
● Only Online registration is open for this event.
Registration Fee: 50/= BDT. (Per Person)

Category: Pre-Primary - Junior (Class 3-8) (Intra School)
Event Guidelines:
1st Round:
● Participants will be given a sheet containing pairs of pictures. They will have to find all the differences possible in the given time limit.
● First 10 participants to submit their sheets within the time limit will be allowed to progress to the next round.
Final Round:
● The finalists will be shown some pairs of pictures on a projector and they will have to find the difference within the time limit
● The finalist with the most correct answers wins! In case of a tie between any of the top 3 scorers, the champion will be decided by a bonus question.
Registration fee: 100/= BDT.
