Marco Ruella
Dr. Ruella is a physician-scientist internationally recognized for pioneering work in CAR-T cell therapy and cellular immunotherapy for blood cancers. His research focuses on engineering next-generation immune cells capable of overcoming tumor resistance and improving durability of responses in leukemia and lymphoma. His lab bridges laboratory discoveries and clinical trials, helping define the future of personalized cancer treatment.
Italo Tempera
Dr. Tempera studies how oncogenic viruses reprogram human cells and contribute to cancer development. His work investigates epigenetic regulation and metabolic changes driven by viral infection — particularly herpesviruses — revealing vulnerabilities that can be targeted therapeutically. His research connects virology, cancer biology, and precision medicine.
