About this Event
Birds are all around us, but how often do we really give them a good look? And what do birds tell us about the health of our neighborhood? Find out as you step into the role of a real-life ornithologist alongside Imperial researchers!
Come and explore the hidden world of birds in White City. Learn how to identify eggs, nests, and feathers, uncover the meaning behind bird calls and songs, and explore the scientific tools used to track and study birds. Discover how scientists use birds to understand the local environment—and how your own observations can contribute to real scientific research.
Perfect for curious minds who love nature, problem-solving, and getting hands-on with science!
This is a free science workshop for families with children aged 7 - 11 in the White City area. An adult must stay with children for the duration of the session.
