Please join us on Saturday, June 13, at 3:00pm for a screening of "My Octopus Teacher," alongside a conversation with Dr. Elizabeth Casterly from Trinity College! A filmmaker forges an unusual friendship with an octopus living in a South African kelp forest, learning as the animal shares the mysteries of her world.
Dr. Casterly will lead a discussion on the fantastic and alien life form that is the cephalopod. She will talk about the complexities of interspecies communication and how relating to disparate life forms teaches us more about humanity.
