🔬✨ Science Night at Cheylesmore Community Centre ✨🔬Join us at Cheylesmore Community Centre from 4pm–8pm on Thursday 19 February for an exciting evening of digital games, competitions, and hands-on science & engineering activities. For ages 11–17.
Resonate is taking over the whole Community Centre in Cheylesmore and filling it with interactive experiences designed to make science fun, accessible, and exciting again. Think video games, learning about the human body, exciting inventions, and hands-on experiments, with full activity details coming in the new year!
What’s happening on the night?
🚀 Immersive Planetarium
⚙️ Exciting inventions from Warwick Manufacturing Group (TBC)
🎮 E-Sports, including Orbital Enemies – a physics game about black holes
❤️ ECG/EMG machine – discover how electrical signals control your heart and muscles
🎓 Widening Participation team – pathways to university
💎 Can you cut ice with diamonds?
💻 Computational modelling (cool computing stuff!)
🎟️ Free entry | All activities FREE
🌭 Food & drink provided – each attendee will receive a hot dog, snack, and drink. Please share dietary requirements when booking.
👨👩👧 Attendees must be accompanied by an adult or youth leader. Adults are welcome to relax on site while 11–17-year-olds explore independently, as long as you remain on site.
