Join the Sherbourne Valley Project, led by Warwickshire Wildlife Trust, at the Charterhouse this February half term for hands-on, family-friendly activities inspired by nature and the local landscape. From the 18 to 20 February, families are invited to drop into the activity room throughout the day to explore a range of free activities. Children can enjoy sensory play, simple crafts such as making finger puppets, activity books and nature trail resources, including bird seed to use outdoors. There will also be information about local trails and the Sherbourne Valley Project for grown-ups to explore.
Alongside the drop-in activities, the Sherbourne Valley Project will be running bookable guided sessions each day. These include gentle wellbeing walks, a sound of nature walk, nature bingo with bird feeder making and a nature and history walk - offering something for all ages to enjoy together.
The Sherbourne Valley Project works with communities and partner organisations to help create a thriving future for Coventry’s River Sherbourne.
Drop-in activities at the Charterhouse take place from 10am to 4pm (no booking required).
Booking is required for guided walks - see the Sherbourne Valley Project website for details.
