Alistair Glasse has enjoyed a career helping to build mankind’s two most powerful astronomical observatories. He will describe the features that make them both so special, present some of the exciting discoveries made by Webb and give a glimpse of what we might see with the ELT when it comes on-line in the 2030s. Scotland’s important role in both projects will be discussed. Please bring your questions.
