Tebo Library, Hays Public Library, and the Sternberg Museum of Natural History are teaming up to host a Science Book Club in 2026. Join the Science Book Club meeting on May 14 at 6:30pm in the Expeditions Room at the Sternberg Museum.
Designed with a "Night at the Museum" feel, there will be an hour of book discussion paired with 30 minutes of interactive learning to bring the book to life. Each month, an expert from FHSU will use artifacts from the Sternberg Museum or information from their research to reveal science and history that connect to that month's book.
May 14:
Book = The Last Wild Places of Kansas by George Frazier
Interactive Learning = Mammal Collection
Lead = Dr. Lorelei Patrick
Future Science Book Club Dates:
June 11 = Everything is Tuberculosis (led by Dr. Maggi Braasch-Turi)
Stay tuned for more dates and details!
