Here's a brief overview of what you can expect from the School Starters Programme 2026:
🌟 Our School Starters Programme is designed to help your child settle into school confidently, while offering you resources, ideas and a supportive community along the way.
🌟 I'll share insights into what your child's teacher would love them to be able to do before they start in September and help you achieve this with your child.
This 2-week intensive programme condenses our 4-week programme into 2 slightly longer sessions.
Each week, we’ll build confidence through:
✨ following simple routines
✨ snack time and independence
✨ joining in and listening
✨ feeling comfortable in a group
All in a calm, familiar environment, with parents there for reassurance and support.
What’s included:
💛 2x 80-minute in-person sessions
💛 small group (max 10 children)
💛 weekly take-home ideas and activities
💛 WhatsApp support throughout
💛 school readiness guide
By the end of the programme, many children will:
✨ feel more confident in a group
✨ be familiar with simple routines
✨ enjoy joining in and taking part
✨ feel more comfortable with what school might be like
You’ll also come away with:
💛 simple, realistic ideas to use at home
💛 a clearer sense of what to expect in September
💛 reassurance that your child is feeling more school-ready
