About this Event

UPTEC's programme will teach you about all the phases of raising investment through a structured and all-encompassing approach. This intensive and practical workshop series is designed to help founders and startup teams navigate the fundraising journey—from early-stage prep to negotiating a successful exit.

Registrations are open to all entrepreneurs with projects capable of raising funding. Your startup's next step starts here!


Duration: February, March, April, June and July

Format: Hybrid (In-person at Fraunhofer Auditorium or online)

You can register for one or all of the workshops. If you complete the entire workshop cycle, you will receive a certificate of participation in the programme.

Info: Understanding pre-seed, seed, and early VC rounds.
Understading how early-stage funding works, who the key players are (angels, VCs, accelerators), how to approach them, and what terms and expectations are typically involved.

#4 Anatomy and Negotiation of a TermSheet - May 28

Info: Breaking down and negotiating term sheets. How to read, understand, and negotiate term sheets. Focus on key terms, potential pitfalls, investor rights, and how to protect founders’ interests.

#5 Later Stage and Exit - 2 july

Info: Scaling, growth capital, and preparing for exit.

This session guides founders through Series A+ funding, scaling challenges, and different exit strategies: acquisition, IPO, or buy-back. It helps entrepreneurs understand long-term capital strategies and value creation.
