UPTEC's programme will teach you about all the phases of raising investment through a structured and all-encompassing approach. This intensive and practical workshop series is designed to help founders and startup teams navigate the fundraising journey—from early-stage prep to negotiating a successful exit.

Registrations are open to all entrepreneurs with projects capable of raising funding. Your startup's next step starts here!

You can register for one or all of the workshops. If you complete the entire workshop cycle, you will receive a certificate of participation in the programme.

Info: Understanding the funding landscape, startup stages, and types of capital.
Introduction about the basics of startup financing, exploring when and why to raise funds, the differences between equity, debt, and alternative funding, and aligning funding with startup maturity and goals.

Info: Getting investor-ready: materials, metrics, and strategy. Preparation of financial documents, pitch decks, data rooms, traction metrics, and legal readiness. Participants will learn what investors expect and how to build trust and credibility from the start.

Info: Understanding pre-seed, seed, and early VC rounds.
Understading how early-stage funding works, who the key players are (angels, VCs, accelerators), how to approach them, and what terms and expectations are typically involved.

Info: Breaking down and negotiating term sheets. How to read, understand, and negotiate term sheets. Focus on key terms, potential pitfalls, investor rights, and how to protect founders’ interests.

Info: Scaling, growth capital, and preparing for exit.

This session guides founders through Series A+ funding, scaling challenges, and different exit strategies: acquisition, IPO, or buy-back. It helps entrepreneurs understand long-term capital strategies and value creation.
