Apprenticeship Interview and Information Session
Location: Beaufort Road Campus, OL6 6NX
Are you interested in starting your career through an apprenticeship when you leave school? Join us at Tameside College to learn about apprenticeship opportunities and interview for upcoming apprenticeship positions.
This in-person event is your chance to meet our business development team, ask questions, and understand the apprenticeship process.
Session Details:
- Duration: Approximately 1 hour 30 minutes
- Includes: Group presentation, individual interview, and Maths/English online assessment
- Location: Beaufort Road Campus, OL6 6NX
Important Information:
- Some courses have entry requirements. Your assessments will give us an indicator as to whether the apprenticeship you are applying for is relevant.
- If you have an employer already, please notify us before your appointment as we may organise a seperate process for you.
- Engineering apprenticeships require a grade 4/C in Maths, English, and ideally Science.
- This is not a drop-in session; please arrive at your scheduled time.
- Only ticketed individuals can attend due to limited spaces, however if there are spaces, parents can be invited into the session for presentations only.
You can only start your apprenticeship once you’ve left school and secured employment.
Eligibility:
- If you have overseas qualifications, you’ll need a statement of comparability (available from ENIC). There may be a fee for this service.
- Non-UK nationals must have lived in the UK for at least 3 years and have the appropriate residency status to qualify for apprenticeship funding.

Please note: Electrical is not available as an apprenticeship right now, but is still offered as full-time college courses. Apply via our website - This may change nearer to the time of you leaving school.
