About this Event
Come along for a fun and creative workshop with local artist, Eleesa Howard.
Morning workshop: 5 - 8 years olds (10am - 11.30am)
Afternoon workshop: 9 -12 years old (1pm - 3pm)
In this hands-on art making session, each participant will make a Memory Box — a special place to hold treasured memories, moments, or gentle reminders. Together, we’ll think about thoughts and feelings that might live inside the box. It could be a place for affirmations like I am kind, reading is my superpower, take chances, or be brave — or simply make space to collect meaningful ideas and memories throughout the year!
Using an assortment of paper, stickers, markers and collage materials, children will be encouraged to explore creativity in a relaxed and supportive environment. There’s no right or wrong way to make, just space to imagine, play, and express.
Bring a friend, or make some new ones along the way. This is an inclusive, beginner-friendly workshop designed to build confidence, creativity, and connection.
Registration is essential as numbers are limited to 12 children. All materials supplied.
A smock or apron is recommended.
Parents, guardians or care givers are required to stay on site for the duration of the program.
