School Holiday Cooking Workshops

Looking for something different for the kids these school holidays?

At Lankan Tucker, we’re hosting fun, hands-on cooking workshops where little chefs get to cook their own lunch and enjoy it together.

Kids will learn how to roll roti bread, create fun pappadum tacos, and fill them with their own toppings. We’ll also serve a lentil curry that kids can enjoy with the roti they’ve rolled themselves.

One of the best parts? Kids eat everything they cook. It’s a relaxed and playful way to introduce children to new flavours while building confidence in the kitchen.

Our team loves working with kids and creating a welcoming space where they can try something new, get their hands messy and have fun.

Each child will take home:

• their own chef’s hat

• a Lankan Tucker apron

• a water bottle

Workshop details

Dates: Tuesday 14 April 2026 & Wednesday 15 April 2026

Time: 10:30am – 12:30pm

Age group: 6–9 years old

Price: $65 per child

Capacity: Limited to 20 kids per session

These small group sessions are designed so each child gets plenty of hands-on time cooking. A fun and memorable school holiday activity for curious little chefs.

Parents are welcome to stay and add onto their ticket - their own grazing box OR Rice & Curry and a coffee - stay and watch your child or enjoy the wi-fi and get some work done whilst you are waiting.
