The Schimmer Records Collective is hosting its first event at TheGate Düsseldorf - two nights with headliners Rosati on Friday and Sedef Adasi on Saturday. As if that wasn't enough, we're offering you a free production workshop with Egotot and Franz Jäger during the day on Saturday if you come on both nights!On Friday we start with techno - extended sets only. We start with Thomas Colin, the label's resident, who is known for his class, elegance and varied sound to get you in the mood from the very first minutes. The peak will be delivered by Rosati. The Netherlands-based DJ and producer has had a strong influence on the underground scene in recent years - he has released on labels such as Steffi's infamous "Dolly", but has also brought a fresh sound to the scene with his own imprint "Global Pulse". The first night will be closed by Schimmer founder Egotot and his partner in crime Franz Jäger. The b2b duo is already known from releases on labels such as "Room Trax".
On Saturday we invite you to our community come together and production workshop, starting at 3pm and hosted by Pino Peña. Egotot and Franz Jäger will produce a track from scratch with Pino giving ideas and asking questions. This workshop is free for people with a weekend ticket. (Some bottles of sparkling wine will also be available for free)
We finish the Weekender on Saturday from 10pm as the next day is a public holiday. So come early not to miss the Gucci Tuch Brüder! The Bro's Pino Peña, label boss of W133 together with Chamäleon the viole(n)t are known for their niche music taste. Exciting beats by Sedef Adasi will provide the top time. Sedef, regular at Berghain/ Panorama Bar and Hamam Night CEO, will bring the heat of the night! Schimmer's resident Baldman C. will close the weekender with a few last fresh house beats that will make everyone smile as they leave the club.
