6/3: Join us for an engaging and practical Scentwork seminar led by Daphne Melillo, a Certifying Official (CO) with NACSW and a seasoned competitor with years of real-world experience. This seminar is designed to deepen your understanding of odor, build stronger communication between you and your dog, and refine your handling skills for both trial success and everyday training. Whether you're just starting out or looking to sharpen your edge, Daphne brings a thoughtful, experience-driven approach that will challenge, support, and elevate every team.6/4: Levels NW1-ELT/Novice-Detective are welcome to join. Hide odor strength will be at the NACSW concentration. You are welcome to run at any level. Dogs must be on odor. You can run more than one dog, some previous hides may be used. The areas/ elements that will be tested are. Interior, Exterior, Containers (ORT boxes), and vehicles.... (vehicles pending as available)
6/5: After the Sniff & Go, the real learning begins. Join Daphne Melillo, NACSW CO and experienced competitor, for a focused follow-up session designed to debrief, diagnose, and develop your next steps. This working seminar will break down what happened on your runs—what went right, where communication broke down, and how to adjust your handling and training moving forward. Through guided discussion, problem-solving, and targeted exercises, teams will leave with clearer strategies, stronger awareness, and a plan to turn trial experience into meaningful progress.
