Scent + Script: Perfume & Lettering Workshop
Celebrate Mother’s Day with a meaningful, hands-on experience at our Scent + Script workshop, hosted by Alison of The Lavender Sachet and Kelsey of Kelsey Haver Designs. This special evening is designed to honor all kinds of love — bring your mom, sister, aunt, niece, best friend or any mother figure who means the world to you.
Each ticket includes both a custom perfume-making workshop and a modern handlettering class, held at the beautifully styled Chasing Cali Collective event space. You’ll enjoy one workshop, take a short break, and then dive into the second — creating something personal and memorable together.
All supplies and guided instruction are included — just come ready to connect, create and celebrate the women in your life.
Perfume Workshop:
Alison at The Lavender Sachet will immerse you in the art of blending different scents to create a personalized perfume. You'll choose from scents like lavender, grapefruit, sandalwood, jasmine and more, and blend them with base oils. By the end of the workshop, you'll take home two 10mL personalized perfumes with custom labels. These portable perfumes are perfect to keep at your bedside, desk, or in your purse for a quick pick-me-up.
Lettering Workshop:
Included in the modern handlettering workshop is an intro to handlettering workbook, supplies to use and take home, a greeting card + matching gift tag and instruction and demos by Kelsey. The lettering portion of the workshop starts with an intro to modern handlettering and time to learn through the workbook. During this time, Kelsey will be around to provide instruction, tips and tricks and answer any questions. The workbook will include worksheets to trace, information and how-to’s for modern lettering. There will be paper and supplies if you’d like to make bookmarks, gift tags and greeting cards with your newfound skills.
To Note:
No prior experience is needed as this event is perfect for beginners! Kelsey and Alison both appreciate your support of their small businesses.
