Scent Art Festival 2026 is an international, community-based contemporary art festival dedicated to integrating scent into artistic practice within a broader multisensory approach.
Taking place at Creative Factory Veldze (Riga, Latvia) on May 6–10, 2026, the festival brings together 97 artists from 32 countries with 108 creative contributions, including exhibitions, live performances, scented video works, music compositions, lectures, workshops, and literature readings.
Under the 2026 theme “Looking Through the Fog of Uncertainty,” the festival reflects on contemporary life shaped by war, climate change, and shifting values. Through artistic and educational exchange, it positions Riga as a platform for international collaboration, knowledge-sharing, and multisensory innovation in contemporary art.
The programme includes exhibitions, performances, lectures, masterclasses, workshops, peer-to-peer learning sessions, and networking events — placing education, exchange, and professional development at the heart of the festival experience.
