Slow-burning sonic landscapes, comprised of tones and textures that drift and settle, shape an immersive world for the listener. Scenery is a night of live ambient music accompanied by atmospheric visuals.This special edition of Scenery is presented as part of Enlighten: BEYOND and, located for the first time at the Canberra Theatre Centre, brings together three cutting edge musical talents. Sia Ahmad draws on archival cassette recordings weaving them with live electronics; Marlene Claudine Radice takes you on sonic excursions with the clarinet; and Sebastian Field returns with processed ambient guitar, shaping layered atmospheres and subtle harmonics. The musicians will be accompanied by live projections by award winning visual artist Nicci Haynes.
