Scene in Virginia (SIV) is a curated monthly film series presented by Richmond’s two-time Emmy® Award winning Nonprofit Belltower Pictures. The events will take place on the 2nd Monday nights monthly - most often at the historic Byrd Theatre. The program showcases films created by Virginia filmmakers or stories rooted in the Commonwealth, providing a theatrical platform and live audience engagement through filmmaker Q&A and discussion. Designed as more than a screening, Scene in Virginia creates an interactive, in-person experience that connects filmmakers directly with audiences and the creative community. Selection reflects inclusion in a curated program committed to showcasing exceptional Virginia storytelling.
