FREE Easter Scavenger Hunt at Myers Park Cottage – Family Fun + Prizes!
Join us this Easter Sunday for a FREE family-friendly scavenger hunt through historic Myers Park! Bring the whānau, roam through the park and hunt down the clues, snap photos—and make your way back to Myers Park Cottage for sausage sizzle and to claim an easter surprise.
This fun community event is hosted at the historic Myers Park Caretaker’s Cottage, with support from Merge Café, who will be running a sausage sizzle with tea, coffee and drinks.
What’s Happening:
• Pick up your clue book at the Myers Park Cottage
• Explore the area to find and photograph each clue
• Complete the scavenger hunt at your own pace
• Return to the Cottage to claim your Easter prize
• Enjoy kai in the courtyard—sausage sizzle, tea, coffee & drinks

Who Can Join:
Everyone! Free, family-friendly, suitable for all ages. Bring comfortable shoes and a phone/camera. Children MUST be accompanied by an adult.
Prizes:
Every completed clue book earns an Easter treat (one per child).

Getting there:
As this is an inner city location we recommend walking, bike or scooter, or public transport.
- On Queen St the closest bus stops are: 7061, 7065, 7063 (heading north, towards the waterfront) and 7062 , 7064 (heading south, up the Queen St hill) or
- On the CityLink bus get off at 1084 or 1080.
- On Pitt St the closest bus stop is 1525.
If driving you can park:
- on the road on Greys Ave
- or in nearby parking buildings including 385 Queen St, Secure Parking in 80 Greys Ave or 441 Queen St
