As a valued participant in Relay For Life 2024, we’d like to invite you to join us for a special Scattering of Ashes Ceremony for the 2024 candle bags:Monday, 17th March 2025 at 5.30pm
Tahunanui Recreation Reserve (@ garden that borders the touch fields and the tennis courts, look for the Cancer Society flag)
This short ceremony and blessing will be led by Marg Palmer, with the stirring sounds of the pipes by Casey McConnon. We’d also like to extend our heartfelt thanks to Shone & Shirley Funeral Directors for their generosity in preparing the candle bag ashes for this occasion.
If you’re unable to attend, that’s absolutely fine - your support at Relay For Life 2024 was already greatly appreciated!
Looking ahead, we’d love for you to Save the Date for Relay For Life Nelson Tasman 2026, which will be held at the Richmond A&P Showgrounds on 14th and 15th March 2026. More information will be shared later in the year, but we’d be thrilled to have you participate again.
