Scarlet Runner Bean food prep, preserving and recipe session.No summer is complete without Scarlet Runner Beans. Join us at the Valley Community Garden for an hour on Sunday from 2pm when Christine Keller will walk us through the operation of a funky old bean slicer.
Pam McKinlay and special guest will also give a brief talk about various beans in the garden and the Heritage Food Crops Trust Bean Project.
The NEV Community Garden is located at the back of North East Valley Normal School. Enter the school grounds via foot through the gate on Longworth Street. Head left up the hill towards the Garden.
