ScanFair brings Scandinavia to Portland through traditional food and drink vendors; an entertainment program focused on cultural heritage; games, activities, and crafts; and welcoming local community organizations.
Tickets are valid for both days! Just grab a wristband as you exit to access the 2nd day of festivities.

- Scandinavian Cafe - Swedish Meatball Meals, Danish Medister Polse Sausage Meals, Lefse, Scandinavian Pancakes, Herring Sample, Pastry
- Harmoni Lodge - Varmkorv (Swedish sausage) with bun or mashed potatoes, Swedish yellow pea soup, Swedish meatballs in gravy with mashed potatoes and lingonberries

- Raw Oregon Honey - Jar of Local Raw Honey and Bee Products

Performance Schedule
Watch dancers, listen to music, participate in contests, see fashion, view awards, and watch the Lucia Court procession! There's so much to see and do at ScanFair.

Official Oregon Lucia Court
Nordic Northwest's Lucia Scholarship program puts young women with an interest in Nordic heritage in touch with a beloved legend of Scandinavian Christmas. Watch the procession as they walk through the event with candle crowns. Check it out Sunday.
Joulupukki ("Finnish Santa Claus")
Take a photo with Joulupukki and his reindeer, Oskar! Find Santa in the central area by the exhibit hall entrance. Brought to you by the Finlandia Foundation Columbia-Pacific Chapter.

Viking Ship
Take a picture with a 20' replica Viking Ship. Find the ship in the central area by the entrance.

Kids' Area
Create ornaments and other crafts, draw in coloring books, and more!
Scavenger Hunt
We've hidden gnomes throughout the event! Can you find them? Find at least 5 and collect your prize at the Nordic Northwest table.

Raffle
Buy tickets to the raffle at the Nordic Northwest table and choose which items you want to try your luck for! There are other raffle items to win as well! You do not need to be present to win.
Eating Contests
Sign up at the Nordic Northwest area! Includes a meatball contest one day and a pickled herring contest the other.

Scandinavian of the Year
Who will win this prestigious achievement? Find out on the stage Saturday.

Weapons Policy
No real weapons are allowed at the event, and no weapons that are sharp or may hurt anyone will be allowed. Prop and fake weapons are allowed as part of Viking costumes if they will not hurt anyone accidentally. No guns are allowed, real or fake.
Money
It's always a good idea to bring cash to our festivals, as paying by cash at vendor booths always keeps things moving smoothly. Most vendors will accept credit cards.
Getting Here
Just 8 miles from Portland International Airport (PDX), visitors can access the Oregon Convention Center (OCC) via Interstate 5 North from Exit 302A–Rose Quarter, or from Interstate 84 West Exit 1–Lloyd Boulevard.
