Bring Scandinavia to your children - sign up for Scandinavian Summer Camp!
The Scandinavian School offers 4 weeks of Scandinavian Summer Camp during the summer of 2023. The camp will be running Monday - Friday between 9AM - 4 PM. The camp is suitable for children 3-8 years old.
You can choose to sign up for a single week or several weeks. If you decide to sign up your child for all four weeks, you will receive 10% discount.
The camp will run the following dates:
June 20 - 23 (The school is closed on June 19 in observance of Juneteenth)
June 26 - June 30
July 31 -August 4
August 7 - 11
The school will be closed between July 3 - July 28.
The Scandinavian language and cultural program will focus on language learning through play, art projects and have different themes every week. The Scandinavian cultures will set a frame for the activities and the children will celebrate Midsummer, and get familiar with Scandinavian stories and characters, as well as arts and crafts.
An organic lunch and afternoon snack is included. If your child has not yet turned 3 years old, but is currently attending our pre-school as a "Goldfish", you are naturally welcome to sign up your child. No extended care is offered during summer camp.
Please note, the program is fully immersion and students should come with knowledge of one Scandinavian language.
