Scampston’s Spring Community Weekend is your chance to experience the Walled Gardens and Parkland in a different way – for free!
This annual weekend is our way of saying ‘thank you’ to our Ryedale residents for continuing to support our attraction and everything that goes on here. We absolutely love holding this event here at Scampston, it is always a fantastic weekend.
The walled garden, hall gardens and parkland are open throughout both days to explore at your own pace. The Pantry Cafe will be open serving warming drinks and food.
Scampston's Community Weekend is open to all Ryedale Residents who have a proof of postcode (free entry for up to 2 adults and 3 children per household).
CHARITY SPRING FAIR

The Bothies Charity are hosting their very popular Spring Artisan Fair to raise funds to support their community work.
This year the Fair coincides with our Ryedale residents Community Weekend, anyone with a proof of postcode can visit the gardens for free as well as the fair!
Stalls will offer a range of handmade, craft and artisanal goods including some made by our own community.
The fair will be held in the beautiful Richardson Conservatory building, right in the heart of the Walled Garden. The Conservatory will be cheerfully decorated in a spring theme to raise all our spirits.
Everyone is very welcome.
The cafe and gardens will be open and refreshments will be available to purchase.
