About this Event
This event is designed to equip you with the knowledge and tools needed to navigate the increasingly complex landscape of financial and identity theft scams. Doors will open at 8:00 AM for registration, networking, and resource browsing, with a light continental breakfast provided.
The program begins at 9:00 AM and will feature sessions from CA Health Advocates, the Department of Consumer Affairs, the Department of Financial Protection, the Social Security Administration, and the FBI Sacramento. We are also honored to have Sonia Martinez Satchell from the Sacramento County District Attorney's Office as our keynote speaker. The event will conclude with closing remarks from Eric Guerra, Sacramento City Councilmember.
Free parking is available for all participants. The Summit is open to the public, including both AARP members and non-members.
