Contractors Workshop: Scaling Up (People)
Jan 14 | 5:30–8:00pm | The Bellevue Club Hotel
If your company is growing but your life isn’t getting easier, this workshop is for you.
Scaling doesn’t break because you “need more leads.” It breaks because roles blur, accountability gets fuzzy, your best people get overloaded, and everything still funnels back to the owner. In this session, we’re tackling the “People” side of Scaling Up so your business can grow without requiring you to carry the whole load uphill.
What we’ll cover (practical + construction-friendly):
- How to reduce owner dependence and stop being the default answer machine
- The difference between responsibility, authority, and accountability (and how to assign them)
- How to build a simple “who owns what” structure as you add team members
- How to spot performance gaps and “seat” issues before they become expensive problems
- Tools we’ll work through together:
FACe: Function Accountability Chart
PACe: Process Accountability Chart
OPPP: One-Page Personal Plan (so growth doesn’t eat your home life)
You’ll walk out with:
- Clear next steps to realign your team around execution
- A repeatable method to define roles and accountability as you scale
- A short list of “moves” to make in the next 30–90 days
Who should attend: Owners, GMs, Ops leaders, and project leaders who want to scale revenue and sanity.
Come for the frameworks, stay for the contractor-to-contractor conversations (and the relief of realizing you’re not the only one wrestling this bear)?.
