Decide how many shelves you’d like to make and the perfect length for each one, tailoring your project to your own space. You’ll have the option to keep the iconic metal end bands on your boards—and learn exactly how to do it.
Once cut, you’ll sand your shelves smooth and apply a coat of Loxkin, our sustainable, UK-made hemp seed oil finish, to bring out the natural character of the wood. Along the way, you’ll gain hands-on woodworking skills and an appreciation for reclaimed materials.
The session also includes a behind-the-scenes tour of our South Street workshop, where all the magic happens. By the end, you’ll leave with unique, handcrafted shelves made entirely by you—from one single board.
