A fantastic Summer trip in Cumbria including climbing England's highest mountain - Scafell Pike! On Sunday 2nd August we meet for a 1.30pm start at St. Bees near Whitehaven for a lovely Coastal hike for approx. 3hrs to stretch the legs, meet everyone in the group and see some stunning coastal views (It's also the official start point of Wainwright's famous Coast to Coast Walk!) We then head to the hotel and stay overnight at the Premier Inn at Whitehaven and on Monday 3rd August (when it is quieter!) it's the main hike up and down Scafell Pike (978m) from Wasdale Head - approx. 5.5-6hrs in total starting by 9am and finishing by 3pm at the latest. Fully guided throughout and a great experience. (Rating 3)Cost includes both the guided hikes and hotel accommodation (food & drink not included but an evening meal is organised)
