Join us on a classic Scafell Pike route from Eskdale, classed as one of the best routes up to England's highest mountain and one of quieter routes away from the crowds. Not for the faint hearted this takes in the fantastic Lords Rake.
Starting in Eskdale we walk along the Esk river before a good climb up to the Birkett Pen with amazing views of the Eskdale valley. This is a great climb that really gets the legs going.
Onto to the Summit of Scafell Pike after a quick break it's on to the top of Mickledore then pass Broad Stand and we finally get to the best part of the day, it's Lords Rake a brilliant gully that takes us onto Scafell.
A fantastic day out that pushes us to our limits with amazing views of the Coniston Mountains and Eskdale valley.
