See how Sofia’s heightened and stylized reimagining of the fated French queen brilliantly captures her story according to André Leon Talley, who had the following to say about this film to IndieWire in 2019:
“Marie Antoinette’ translated so well to a film, because it was a film that just said everything about Marie Antoinette. She was a teenager, and she was a queen, and she did not really mature until she was about to die, but it just said everything about that frivolity and the exquisite refinement of the world, you know.”

Tickets for the film are FREE for SCAD students, faculty, staff and SCADFASH members. SCADFASH members will need to email SCADshow at [email protected] with your member ID to reserve a ticket that can be picked up at will call the night of the screening. Alumni, seniors, and military $5; and $8 for the general public.
