WHO SHOULD ATTEND: The Barista Skills Intermediate course builds on the concepts and skills introduced in the Foundation course. It is ideal for someone who has
barista skills experience and wants to explore how to improve coffee quality and prepare for more complex job functions found in the barista profession.
WHAT WILL YOU LEARN :
Learn the common arabica varieties and their impact on flavors; practical skills you need behind the espresso bar: learn how to set your grinder, workflow and workspace management; latte art, health and safety, customer service, and basic business practices.
UPON COMPLETION:
You will be assessed with practical exams and a written exam.
Graduates with a pass grade will be awarded 10 Credits towards the SCA Coffee Diploma for your continuing learning journey.

課程內容:
咖啡師技能中級課程以基礎課程所介紹的概念和技能為前提。對於具備咖啡師技能經驗,且希望探索如何提高咖啡質量並為咖啡師專業領域更複雜的工作職能做好準備的人來說,這是一門理想的課程。通過這門交互式授課課程,學習者將對咖啡本身有更深入的了解,特別是咖啡的品種、原產地和加工方法對風味的影響;調整刻度盤適應咖啡配方時,咖啡粉量、研磨質地、水質、濃縮製作時間等參數的設計及其相互作用;飲品構造與味道差異;工作流程管理和效率、濃縮咖啡萃取的感官方面因素;牛奶處理和技術以及拿鐵藝術。除了咖啡準備之外,此課程還包括有關健康與安全、客戶服務和基本商業實踐的關鍵性概念。
