Construction M/WBEs looking to grow their business, through City project work or other, are invited to our free (SBS) Bonding Services webinar series that will provide information about surety bonds, how to position your construction business to secure bonding, and what surety companies look for in a good surety bond candidate.
WEBINAR: CONSTRUCTION CONTRACT DOCUMENT MANAGEMENT & PROMPT PAYMENT
Document management and control is critical in managing a construction project. This webinar, conducted by an attorney specializing in construction, will review what needs to be documented and how to properly manage documentation on a project to avoid obstacles to getting paid in a timely fashion.
Also, we will review the recent changes to the Prompt Payment Act, which applies to all private commercial construction projects having a value of $150,000 or more, and the impact this legislation will have in the future.
