Sbowe is the solo project of Rachel Icenogle, a versatile cellist and composer based in Calabria, Italy with a mind for new and interesting sounds. Sbowe thrives in the scratchy, creaky, whirly sounds the cello can make, layering diverse musical textures in a lush groundwork for wild fables about insects and impressionistic stories about human batteries. About her EP Morimus (2022), Breaking & Entering Milwaukee wrote, “…the two tracks here create massive, textural, exquisite movements that feel poetic as they feel intentional. It’s like we’re observing both the gorgeous and tense moments of nature unfold in real time, punctuated by a variety of cello sounds.”
As a cellist, Rachel Icenogle loves to explore the tonal palette of her instrument. Beyond performing as Sbowe, she is the composer and musical director for puppet shows with Company Aiello, an Italian puppet theater. Rachel is a former member of the bands Upholstery (Philadelphia, PA), Cast Shadows (Philadelphia, PA), and John the Savage (Milwaukee, WI). Specializing in multi-disciplinary projects and improvisation, she has collaborated with theater, dance, film, performance art, and storytelling makers in the USA and Italy. Currently touring after the release of her first full-length studio album Bat Hat (2024), Rachel also frequently records cello and arranges music for bands and theater underscoring. With a passion for the unique and unexpected, Rachel sets herself apart as a performer, always seeking opportunities to diversify and discover new artistic expression.

Frozen Charlotte is the newest project from Madison, WI based multimedia artist Sigra DeWeese.
Blending DeWeese’s signature airy coloratura vocals with a heavy, hardcore infused production and catchy, pop sensibility, Frozen Charlotte boasts a dynamic sound for fans of Lung, Deftones and Poppy. Live show supported by the musical talents of drummer Elliot Jewell, guitarist Quintin Bovre, Keyboardist Riley Rentfro and second bassist Olivia Curran.

Luke McGovern’s songs run the gamut, at times carrying a country twang, and other times following a more mystical sound inspired by the fantastic. He has been described as “If Townes Van Zandt were less cynical, more sober, and alive (Isthmus),” and works earnestly, though with humor, to craft his songs. The Madison singer/songwriter is largely self taught and self produced, recording songs in closets, bedrooms, basements, and garages. His new album Bestiary is a reflection on creatures- real and imaginary- and our relationship with them.
