From the Silent Book Club parent group: "To celebrate Audiobook Appreciation Month in June, Silent Book Club is dedicating our monthly spotlight campaign, SBC Reads, to audiobook titles from Penguin Random House Audio on Libro.fm.
On June 13th, we're showing our appreciation for audiobooks with a neighborhood walk-a-thon to support independent bookstores and we would love for you to join us!

Each week of Audiobook Appreciation Month, we'll be dropping one free new title from Penguin Random House Audio—delivered straight to your members through Libro.fm. That's four weeks and four fresh listens, all free! Make sure you and your members download the Libro.fm app so they're ready to go when each title drops!

Our group will join in the audiobook walk-a-thon at Tom Triplett Park, at 6pm. You are free to go earlier, but with how hot it gets here I wanted to make the official event later in the evening. Don't forget to bring water and sunscreen!
We will meet over by the pavilion across from the tennis courts. We will chat for about 15 minutes before we start walking, during which time you can talk about what book you will be listening to if you like. People can walk as a group, or they can walk on their own. Part of the fun of an audiobook walk is enjoying our community!
At the end of the walk we can all head over to cool down at Rita's Italian Ice down the road and hang out if you like!

If there is rain, the alternate location is the Oglethorpe Mall. If we have to change to the mall, we will meet at Barnes and Noble. We can walk inside the mall and listen to our audiobooks that way!
At the end of the walk you can go and browse some books!
