Come Join us at the Sayville Library for the beloved Sayville Rotary Annual Pet Parade. Registration for your pet begins at 8:00am at the Library. Parade starts at 9:00am and ends at the the Common Ground Rotary Park. Look for our table to meet some of our adoptable dogs and learn about Last Chance Animal Rescue. You might even meet your forever friend! This is a free event hosted by Sayville Rotary. Every year, pets and their owners have a wonderful, proud march down Main Street Sayville to the delight of onlookers who crowd the sidewalks.
Pets of all shapes, sizes and breeds are in attendance......dogs, cats, birds, horses, lizards, guinea pigs, hamsters, mice, turtles, rabbits and even a ladybug have been paraded through our down town.
In recent years, this event draws 200-300 people from as far New Jersey, Connecticut and Massachusetts.
The parade ends in Rotary Park where judges make their determination on a various award categories.
