Revisiting the first record alongside these new pieces felt necessary. It’s about finding
the thread that connects the initial impulse of the project to its current form, after
focusing exclusively on recorded works for so many years.
And some info about the project: Established in 1999, Moljebka Pvlse has been a consistent
presence in the international experimental music scene. Known for a meticulously
crafted blend of field recordings, modular synthesis, and minimalist textures, the project
has released an extensive catalog on esteemed labels worldwide, exploring the
boundaries of drone and acousmatic sound.
From Studio to Stage While Moljebka Pvlse has remained prolific in the studio—
releasing multiple acclaimed records during this period—this series of concerts marks
the end of a long absence from public performance. Under the theme “These allegories
and symbols of resurrection,” the evening will feature the live debut of material from
these recent studio works, seamlessly integrated with reimagined material from the
project’s seminal debut record.
A Sonic Lineage: 1999–2026 By interlacing the raw, concrete textures of the first release
