JOIN MERCY FOR ANIMALS VOLUNTEERS AT CRYPTO.COM ARENA TO DEMAND THAT COMPASS GROUP USA STOP SOURCING FRANKENCHICKENS!
Meet us for the protest at 4:30pm on the corner of Figuero and 12th Street, across from Crypto Arena. Many will be coming from Animal Victory Meetup, a space where activists come together to build community and win real victories for animals, every Sunday at 2pm https://luma.com/uwmhjten. Parking information is available here courtousy of the AVM organizers.
Signs will be provided and megaphones are welcomed!
CAMPAIGN INFO:
Compass is the largest foodservice provider in the United States. They supply companies, universities, and venues across the country with birds that have been bred to suffer as they grow unnaturally large and abnormally fast. Compass Group failed to meet their original 2024 deadline to ban Frankenchickens and then published an incremental roadmap detailing a new timeline. Despite claiming to be in conversation with suppliers, the company has yet to secure and publicize partnerships with producers specifically for sourcing chicken meat from higher-welfare breeds—a vital step for executing their plan.
