Dear Nature Volunteers,We're off on a residential trip to the Peak District National Park.
We'll be working with the rangers helping to maintain the countryside in that beautiful part of the world. Last time we built revetments to repair an eroded footpath and rebuilt collapsed dry stone walls.
On previous trips we've cut widened and resurfaced paths, installed picnic tables, built stone culverts and helped restore peatland.
Full information will be sent nearer the time to OCV members first, so make sure your membership is up-to-date, join the mailing list, and watch out for an email with more details.
No previous experience is necessary.

WANT TO BECOME A VOLUNTEER LEADER OR DRIVER?
We're short of task leaders at the moment and we can't carry on without them.
Some of our tasks are much easier to lead than others, so if you're a regular volunteer please consider stepping up to do a bit of leading. Any of the task leaders will be happy to let you shadow them until you're confident you know the ropes. If you are interested, please get in touch - we need more leaders.
