TO JOIN US AS WE RESUME IN-PERSON WORSHIP STARTINGSUNDAY, JANUARY 11, 2026
Staring Sunday, January 11, 2026, we will resume in-person worship, Sunday at our modified time of 2:00pm! Worship will continue to be held at Second Unitarian Church which is located at 656 West Barry Avenue, Chicago, IL 60657.
Our doors will open at 1:30pm for pre-service hospitality, where worship will commence starting at 2:00pm.
Under the guidance of our Interim Pastor Rev. Tory Topjian, both Deacons Denise and Suzanne will continue to serve as our Worship Leaders, providing weekly planning of events and services, reflections, and communion. We anticipate variety, so that every Sunday will be unique.
Hospitality will be available after evening worship services, in a lovely fellowship room adjacent to the sanctuary. This room will be available for a variety of events, including potluck meals. There’s a huge kitchen attached to the fellowship room, for us to use every Sunday!
Getting there by CTA, the new location is accessible via routes 22 or 36, and Red or Brown Lines.
Note that since we are worshipping at an earlier hour that there is limited paid parking is on Halstead, Broadway, and Clark, as well as on Barry Avenue. Providing you are able to locate parking on Barry Avenue, you may park there providing you have departed prior to 6pm, when their permit enforcement begins.
There is also FREE garage parking is available at Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center, at Wellington and Sheffield (3017 N. Halsted St). You’ll receive a ticket at the entrance and simply place the church’s parking sticker available at the back of the church on Sundays.
