Outdoor Education is on the line. The Government released the revised senior subject list and Outdoor Education is not included as a senior academic subject. At present, Outdoor Education sits in a vocational-only pathway that does lead to University Entrance (UE). This removes a clear academic pathway for students and limits options at Years 11–13.But together we’ve shown the strength of our collective voice, over 50,000 signatures and hundreds of submissions in support of Outdoor Education. Now it’s time to take that message directly to Parliament.
Join us on the steps of Parliament on Tuesday 21 October from 12pm ready for when we present the petition at 1pm. Bring your banners, your voice, and your passion. Students, parents, teachers, outdoor providers, and supporters, everyone is welcome.
(Gather from 12, Rally starts at 12.30, Petition Handover Starts at 1pm)
